Highlight Notes
SESSION 3: Ferrari continued in FP3 where they left off in FP2 and led a 1-2, headed by Raikkonen. Ricciardo was third while Bottas, running the new-spec W08 was Mercedes' best showing.

Now, who will deliver the goods in qualifying? Tune in at 9 AM GMT to find out!

FP3 comes to a close with the Ferraris 1-2, led by Raikkonen.

Late contact in the dying minutes of FP3! Palmer locks up and spears into Verstappen's left-rear tyre, resulting in a puncture for Max and a broken wing for Jolyon. "******* idiot! What an idiot!", yells Verstappen.

Vettel told to stop the car and come into the garage. What could it be?

Magnussen, who is fast becoming the bad boy of the paddock, unnecessarily impedes Wehrlein in the final corner just as the latter was about to start a lap.

Things stay the same at the top but it's all happening among the midfielders as Grosjean, who suffered a huge crash yesterday, now goes for a spin.

Just like yesterday, Gasly's mechanics are fed a smoke bomb as the Frenchman pulls to a stop in his stall!

The Ferraris step it up and it's Raikkonen and Vettel once again at the top.

Palmer's brakes have apparently 'gone through the floor' as the Brit runs wide and resorts to the radio.

We are hearing threats of rain on the way, as Alonso goes for a loop in the final corner.

Most of the front runners are on the supersoft tyres and it's currently Hamilton on point.

FP3 is underway, under cloudy skies. Gasly is the first to head out.

Good morning! It's qualifying day at Sepang but up first, it's FP3, the last chance for the teams and drivers to hone their setups.

Friday's practice saw Red Bull Racing triumph in mixed conditions while Ferrari had the edge on a dry track. Mercedes seemed lost, with both drivers skating off into the scenery and not even cracking the top-5 afterward.

The session will be remembered for the loose drainage cover that ripped Grosjean's tyre and sent him flying into the wall. He was able to walk away, thankfully.

So who will make the most of this final practice run? And will the weather throw any further surprises? To find out, tune in for FP3 at 6 AM GMT!
